Training of Secretaries

 

This program is intended for paramedical personnel, such as secretaries in charge of making appointments, or typing up reports. People with disabilities can also participate.

 

It takes place over one day and provides a general overview of what MRI is, its imaging techniques, constraints and equipment.

 

This concise and succinct program aims to put a picture on terms like SPIN ECHO, GRADIENT ECHO, T1, T2, and to explain all the technical vocabulary usually used by radiologists.

 

On the other hand, it makes it possible to realize how the examinations are carried out, in order to optimize appointments by judiciously organizing sessions and selecting patients compatible with the MRI.

 

And as it is often the secretaries who greet the patients, they take part in de-dramatizing the examinations by answering their questions and removing their fear of MRI.
